About Institute
The International Institute of Information Technology (I²IT), Pune—pronounced “I Square IT”—was established in 2011 by the late Shri P. P. Chhabria, Founder Chairman of the Finolex Group of Companies and former President of the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA). The Institute operates under the aegis of the Hope Foundation and Research Centre (HFRC), a registered charitable trust. Under the visionary leadership of Dr. Aruna M. Katara (née Chhabria), President of HFRC, the Institute continues to uphold its commitment to quality education, innovation, and societal development.
Designed by internationally acclaimed architects and situated on a 10-acre campus, I²IT is dedicated to delivering high-quality technical education in the emerging fields of engineering and technology. It offers four-year full-time B.Tech. degree programs in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. Since its inception, the institute has witnessed a steady increase in student intake from 180 to 360 across these disciplines.
Notably, two undergraduate programs have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for a period of three years, and the institution has received an ‘A’ Grade in its second cycle of accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Beginning with the Academic Year 2025–26, I²IT has been conferred autonomous status while remaining affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University. Additionally, the institute has introduced a two-year full-time M.Tech. program in Computer Engineering from the same academic year.

About Conference
The 2nd IEEE International Conference on Information, Implementation, and Innovation in Technology 2026 (I2ITCON 2026) is organized by Hope Foundation’s International Institute of Information Technology (I²IT), Pune, with technical sponsorship from the IEEE Pune Section. The conference builds upon I²IT’s legacy of IEEE-endorsed research platforms, following previous major IEEE conferences hosted by the institute in 2016 (IEEE ICACDOT 2016) and 2022 (IEEE PuneCon 2022).
Conducted in hybrid mode, I2ITCON 2026 aims to provide a global platform for technocrats, research scholars, academicians, and industry professionals to present and discuss cutting-edge advancements and innovative implementations across domains.
The conference brings together leading researchers and practitioners from around the world to drive knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and technological innovation that addresses challenges in society, industry, and sustainability. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
